Their 1991 debut album, Nobody Said It Was Easy, is one of my all-time favorites of any band in any genre.
One of their members died of an O.D., and another, lead singer Frank C. Starr, was hit by a car while riding his Harley and later died. These proved to be events from which the band was never able to recover, and they left us with a short but sweet list of great songs.
They truly captured lightning in a bottle with their Nobody Said It Was Easy album, and I hope to see it live on as a testament to their brief moment in the sun.
Here are a few of their songs to listen to. iTunes has some of their material to download, and Amazon.com has their CD for sale.
Long live the Four Horsemen!
LWM out............
